Jan 12, 17, 18 (12:00-12:40 pm) in Room 4 at Franklin - BCE Read-a-thon Kick Off Event with Pop-up Children's Book Sale
Jan 21 (1:00-3:00 pm) at the Burlingame Public Library - Early Morning Reading Time with read alouds by our Teachers and Staff Members
Jan 22-26 (8:00-8:29 am) at the Franklin Library - The Great Book Swap -- students bring in books they no longer want and switch them with other books to take home
Jan 22-26 (12:00-12:40 pm) in Room 4 at Franklin - BCE Read-a-thon Bedtime Story courtesy of McKinley Elementary: online reading of Wonton Wonders by author Stephanie Li followed by a read aloud of a Spanish book by Maestra Ballonet, McKinley 1st grade dual language immersion teacher.

January 29 is the last day to enter reading minutes and to make a donation.
All proceeds from the 2024 BCE Read-a-thon fund teacher salaries and provide the education your kids deserve. All donations are tax-deductible, and parent donations will count towards your annual contribution to BCE.
