Parents and caregivers are invited to connect with Burlingame’s Special Education District Advisory Committee (SEDAC)! It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet and network with other families across the district, share experiences and resources, and offer support to one another along our journeys. Whether you’re new to special education or have been navigating the journey for years, your voice and connection matter. We hope you’ll join us!

Franklin PTA’s annual Walk-A-Thon is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year that will take place on October 16th, 1pm PT!

Funds raised through the Walk-A-Thon directly support our school: classroom supplies, field trips, enrichment programs (for example, Family STEM Night), assemblies, teacher and staff appreciation, and community events for our school throughout the school year. Our goal this year is $80,000.

We are looking for Franklin businesses and families to sponsor our 2026 Walk-A-Thon t-shirts! If you are interested in becoming a t-shirt sponsor, please complete our sponsorship Google Form below. Your Family name and/or business logo will be printed on the back of the WaT t-shirts. We also have prizes and perks for our sponsors. Please see our sponsor form for details!

How to Sponsor

Step 1. Complete the 2026 Walk-A-Thon Sponsorship Form (REQUIRED BY ALL SPONSORS).

Deadline to sponsor the T-shirts: Monday, September 28th at 12:00 PM!
