Carnegie Mellon Professor PO-SHEN LOH: Parenting After AI Aces Every Standard

3/10 (Tues) 6:30pm–8:00pm BIS Auditorium 

 

Speaker Po-Shen Lo travels to 100+ cities per year, learning, observing, and sharing novel strategies with diverse audiences. He draws from experience as the former national coach of the USA Math Olympiad team, as a Carnegie Mellon professor, and as a social entrepreneur who hires directly from the current job market. He is also a parent himself, facing this uncertain world with three kids. Brief BIS March PTA General Meeting (start time TBD) will precede this event.

Join Us for Family Math Night 3/25

The PTA is excited to host our upcoming Math Night on Wednesday, March 25 from 5:00–7:00 PM. Bring the whole family for an evening of hands-on math games, problem-solving fun, and community connection.

Whether your child loves math or is still building confidence, there will be engaging activities for everyone to enjoy.

We Need Volunteers! Math Night is only possible with the help of our amazing parent community. We are looking for at least 10 volunteers to help set up and support the event. If more parents sign up, volunteers can rotate and take turns so everyone can also enjoy the evening with their children.

Share Your Ideas for Improving Our Campus!

Our school is advocating to the Bond Committee for campus improvements — including ideas such as adding more shade for hot summer days, repainting school walls, and enhancing student spaces. We would love your input! Your suggestions will be collected and presented directly to the Bond Committee at a meeting for all parents, to be held in the coming months to help ensure our school’s needs are clearly represented.

There are two easy ways to share your ideas:

Stop by the Suggestion Box at the Glow Party check-in desk and drop off your written suggestion.

2️⃣ Online:
Submit your ideas through this Google Form.
